How This Academy Started
I never set out to open a Jiu-Jitsu academy — it just kinda happened...
In 2019, while living in League City, I came across a small judo gym and struck up a conversation with the owner. That conversation turned into me teaching a small Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program a few days a week. When COVID shut that gym down, a handful of students wanted to keep training, and I wasn’t willing to let them down.
We started wherever we could — first in a small storage-unit office, then a slightly larger space, and eventually into our current home at The Warehouse Gym. This academy was built slowly, intentionally, and around the people who showed up consistently.
Our Mission
My goal is to provide Jiu-Jitsu in a way that makes people healthier — both physically and mentally — less stressed, and better human beings overall.
